Day 0 — Welcome to The Quiet Start

You’ve arrived.
Before we begin, pause for a moment and let that sink in.
You made it here.
To a place that asks nothing of you but presence.
No performance. No perfection. Just breath.

This week isn’t about mastering stillness or learning new skills.
It’s about remembering what has always been true —
that God meets you where you are, not where you think you should be.

Each day, there’s one short audio reflection (about 3–6 minutes)
and a simple journal page to help you listen, notice, and return.
Ten quiet minutes that begin to untangle the noise
and bring you back to yourself — and to the Presence that has never left.

You don’t have to prepare. You don’t have to be ready.
You just have to show up as you are.

If silence feels awkward, you’re not doing it wrong.
If you notice distraction, tension, even resistance — that’s part of the practice.
The goal isn’t to erase noise, but to notice what’s beneath it.
You are learning to be with yourself and with God again.

How to Begin

  1. Choose a time of day you can mostly keep — morning, midday, or before bed.

  2. Find a spot where you can breathe without hurry.

  3. Listen to the Day 1 audio (3–6 minutes).

  4. Spend a few minutes with your journal page. There’s no right way.

If anything feels overwhelming, pause.
Open your eyes.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Notice three things around you.
You are safe to rest.

This isn’t about achieving quiet.
It’s about discovering the quiet that was waiting for you all along.

Before you begin, take a slow breath.
Hold your hand to your heart or your abdomen — wherever life feels most near —
and whisper to yourself:
I’m here. And God meets me here.

Then, when you’re ready, step into Day 1: Pause at the Threshold.
